Organic White Sage Smoke Wand (NZ Grown)
Our White Sage smoke sticks are 100% organic and ethically grown and harvested in New Zealand by Dan and Kylie at Mountain Road Estate. All aspects of this stick have been produced with love, intention, and gratitude in an organic family home.
Smoke clearing is an ancient practice of cleansing and can help move stagnant unwanted energy, making room for balance, ease, and various other benefits depending on the plants used. White Sage is a sacred herb with its roots in indigenous Native American cultures. The Native American people have used the sacred plant and its smoke for centuries to purify, bless and spiritually cleanse a person or a space.
Smoke clearing can be a potent ritual and should be done with care, reverence and an attitude of love and respect for Mother Nature. It is important that your smoke wands are organic, spray-free, and sourced ethically to ensure the balance of nature is upheld.

Not sure how to use a smoke wand? Here are some guidelines you can follow. Ultimately, do what feels best to you. Connect with your inner voice and follow that.
1. Be mindful of fire hazards at all times – this stick will catch on fire. Be ready to blow out the fire once it catches and allow the smoke to go to work.
2. Find a fireproof bowl or a Paua shell (to catch the ash) and have a candle or lighter on hand. Use the flame to light your smudge stick – it may take a little bit of time for the fire to catch properly.
3. Once the stick is flaming, blow it out so the smoke wand is smouldering (smoking), but be careful not to blow to ash everywhere.
4. Start with an intention, clearly stating in your mind or out loud what you plan to achieve, and call on the spirits of the sacred plants to guide you.
5. Don't rush. Simply be in the moment with your intention and the sacred plants. Fan the smoke towards your heart then circle it around the top of your head and the rest of your body.
6. Proceed to use the smoke to cleanse anyone else in the room and the space around you. Ensure a door or window is open to allow the smoke to escape.
7. Thank the plant and your guides and let the wand smoke till it's out.
