The Throat chakra, known as the Vishuddha chakra in Sanskrit, is the fifth of our seven energy centers and is located in the throat area. It's the chakra that's associated with authenticity, communication, and self-expression. When this chakra is out of balance, we may have difficulty expressing ourselves or speaking confidently. When it is balanced, we express ourselves clearly and confidently, with authenticity and truth.
